Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sonar Bangla Hire Centre (www.sonarbanglakolkata.com). By browsing our website, communicating with our team, or renting our furniture, appliances, and decorator items, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.



1. Order Placement & KYC Verification

  • Contact Requirements: To place an order, customers must provide a valid primary contact number, an active WhatsApp number for coordination, and a complete, accurate delivery address.
  • Minimum Order Value: We accept rental orders with a minimum total value ranging between Rs. 500/- and Rs. 800/-, depending on the specific items requested.
  • KYC Verification: Prior to delivery, customers must successfully complete our KYC process by submitting valid government-issued ID and address proof.


2. Pricing, Taxes, and Payments

  • Booking Token: To confirm your order, a 50% advance token amount of the total rental value is required.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full at the time of item delivery and handover.
  • Taxes: An 18% GST shall be added to the total final bill price for all orders.


3. Delivery, Transport & Labour Charges

  • Transport Costs: Carrying costs and delivery charges are not included in the base rental price and will be calculated according to the distance of the delivery location.
  • Labour Charges: Additional labour charges for the loading, unloading, and setup of the rented items shall be applicable on each order.


4. Mutual Inspection, Damages & Missing Items

  • Handover Inspection: When you receive your items (including all decorator items), we encourage you to thoroughly inspect everything. Our delivery team will ensure everything is in working order.
  • Return Inspection & Liability: Upon the return or pickup of the items, the Company will conduct a full inspection. If any items are found to be missing, or if there is any damage beyond standard wear and tear, the full cost of the repair or replacement will be fully chargeable to the customer.
  • Ownership: All rented items remain the exclusive property of Sonar Bangla Hire Centre at all times.


5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Order Cancellation: If you choose to cancel a confirmed order after the total amount has been paid, the Company will process a refund after a strict 30% deduction on the total order amount to cover processing and reservation losses.
